I’m not trying to change the world.
I’m just trying to retire one tired pair of work boots.
Retire My Boots is a ridiculous internet experiment built on very simple math: millions of people, Two dollars each, one working guy gets one step closer to hanging up the boots for good.
There’s no fake charity here. No sob story. No investment pitch. Just a funny idea to see if enough people on the internet will chip in a couple bucks and help prove that even the dumbest plan can work if enough people get behind it.
Every dollar presses the Quit Button one more time.
Will it work? Probably not.
But if it does, it’ll be hilarious.
Ever find two bucks in your cupholder, on the counter, or buried in an old jacket pocket?
That’s the whole idea here.
Retire My Boots is basically a spare-change jar for one tired pair of work boots. If enough people toss in a couple bucks, who knows what it adds up to.
Could this become a ridiculous success?
Probably not.
But maybe — and that’s what makes it funny.
